My Second Week On Ebay

Posted by on October 19, 2012 in Making A Living On Ebay? |

Okay, so I think I’m just about into my third week now on eBay having had a good solid two weeks listing and listing and listing and things seem to be going okay.

Without giving too much away and having you rush out to see what items I’m selling on eBay and maybe even copying me!….I will just tell you that the items I’m listing are very light – They are easy to store – They don’t crack or break, like fragile objects would or break like electrical goods etc. So, the items I’m selling are pretty good for selling and then shipping out, and shipping is another area that my items are perfect, because an item will fit into a regular low cost strong envelope and ship for just a few Dollars…..

At the moment I have just over 500 items listed on eBay! and I tend to sell around 20% of the items I list, which I don’t suppose is too bad. Now, the only real downside to the products I’m selling is that they are quite a low priced item to sell on EBay, because once I have added all my eBay costs together and my Paypal costs, which really do add up, I’m not actually left with a large profit.

My items tend to sell for around the $4 mark (Yes, I know this is very, very low), BUT, I’m currently selling around $60 to $90 per day leaving me with a nice little profit of on average around the $40 to $50 per day, but don’t forget that that 7 days per week!

So, right now that’s where I am. I have just over 500 items on eBay, and I will be adding another 100 items over the next 4 to 5 days so, hopefully, that should increase my profits a little more. Check back soon for my update.
